Crib Girl video (2017)

The video Crib Girl was filmed, directed and edited by Johnette Napolitano. The multimedia collaboration  is informed by a desire to bring images of these women to life; to research and name them, as well as to memorialize their lives. Each photo composition blends  an archival portrait which is paired with a cactus flower photo that I took in Joshua Tree National Park.
